This is my entry for Give the Gift of Art Challenge.
It pains me to see others in a state of despair, just like how I was. I thought I was always going to think that way, that no matter how much one helps, I'll always think back to such dark thoughts. Well, I wasn't wrong. It's true that I still think of negative thoughts but, not as much as I did before. It wasn't until I met so many wonderful people who had also been through the same situations as I did. Just hearing all of them encourage others time and time again managed to sweep away those thoughts. Yes, some of those thoughts do tend to linger, but just hearing their words of encouragement every now and then helped me get to up and try again.
My gift is to help others who are in those same depressing state's just like I was. To give them a sense of hope and happiness, that there are still more way's to keep on going. Even to those who are choose not to ask for help, like me, soon enough you'll be able to find you're own way.
I would love to give this drawing to a few of my family members and friends. I want to show them that they will soon find a path to their own hope and happiness. That everything will be alright if they keep on going.
I made this drawing by using water colored Faber-Castell pencils and a few Copic markers.
